I don't know he has a long way to go if that's the case.

You mean this year? He already has 61 for his career...

Wright has 20HR for the Mets in 91 games this year that projects out to 35.6HR if he plays in every game the rest of the season...35HR would be a nice total, if he hits .315 with 35HR he's going to drive in his share...

I like what I've seen so far from David Wright as a hitter.. it's his defense that could use a big improvement an RF of 2.34 and fielding % .950 are not even close to where they need to be...Even last year his RF was 2.80 , I'm hoping he doesn't turn into one of those guys who if he's hitting, he's not about to get his nose dirty on defense! There are enough of those around already..

David Wright does not have the power to finish with more than 45 home runs this year.

10 years ago I would have said no way. In this era, I'd say he and Pujols may be the clean version of McGwire and Sosa,a nd 60 may not be out of reach for either of them.

And that doesn't even take guys like Howard and Thome and Ortiz into account.

Funny, now that MLB is cracking down on steroids, there are more big time sluggers than ever before. I guess they didn't figure on how many pitchers were juicing.

No way. Hes not kind of a power hitter and if he got close he would never see home run balls to hit. Its gonna be hard in the non steroid era to hit 60 home runs anymore.

No.. He will begin to feel the pressure and will be lucky to reach 50, never mind 60.

Have to call them as I see them.

No. He may hit a little over 40 homers.

I wish. 40 HRs would be amazing. 120 RBI would be great. .330 average. 28SBs. He's my hero though.
