This is most likely a fibroadenoma - a benign growth that is found in some women. The posibilities that this is cancer is low given your family history and age. However, this could also be a cyst which your doctor can drain. I recommend you see your doctor even though you should not worry. He will be able to examine it (fibroadenomas have a certain way they feel - kinda rubbery and freely movable) and tell you for sure.

For a fibroadenoma, we don't do anything unless it continues to enlarge or if it bothers the patient. If it continues to enlarge, please see your doctor and he will make a decision.

Go to the doctor. Many women with no family history get breast cancer. And age doesn't matter either.
Better safe, than sorry.
Don't over worry yourself though it could be OK. But get it checked.

Only a doctor can tell you for sure.

If you are stil developing then it is possible to have slightly lumpy breasts. Also you can get lumps during the month that are to do with your menstrual cycle. When you breast check, use the flat of your palm not your fingers as they are more sensitive and will find every tiny spot and gland which will make you worry.

Its probably nothing but if you are worried the usual advice applies.. see your doctor.

You are young and full of hormones, so this can happen and it is very likely NOT breast cancer. So, don't "worry" but you should still go see a doctor.

I doubt that it's anything but you should probably call your gynecologist just to make sure and see what they think. If you have never been before maybe you should start now. It is an unpleasant, somewhat embarrasing experience but the peace of mind is worth it. But don't worry ...... it's VERY doubtful that it's anything to worry about.

I would get it checked out anyway. There is no reason to take a chance with your health. It's probably nothing, but it's best to be safe.

um, it might be something the doctor told me can sometimes be something like some type of fatty tissue, or ya, you might want to go get it checked anyway.
