Hi,
I guess your question is related to the recent events. I sent the following answer to someone and am reproducing it again.
The fact is that Materazzi conducted a dirty task in a match, which was watched by possibly billions. If this is what is going in the texture of the game, how can we be proud to have spent our valuable times for watching people who do not have any descrete values inside themselves.
Actually, I am neither an Italian nor a French. Surprisingly I was willing to see Italians victory before the game. I knew little from French Football and Zeidan before. But the action of the Italian player made me re-think about the whole competition. Wearing nice sport wears and jesting heroic while being so mean in disguise is not something we should tolerate. Do we like to be fans for idiots? Certainly not.
If Zeidan is remebered, it is because his action revealed something ugly in the football match. Zeidan's action caused some to scrutinize on the issue. If Zeidan had said nothing, whether or not French team would have won, this ugly behavior would be in disguise and would continue. If FIFA re-sets the final match, nobody would dare to act dirty in sports fields and it would be a lesson not only for the sport games but also all social occasions around the world. I am in favour of sending a petition to FIFA to ask them have anther game between Italy and French.
I would like to suggest having a petition to FIFA to Re-Set the final Game. Don't you believe if this happens, the impacts would be great in all our life around the world? Sports and world cup were really meant to upgrade human being qualities and values.

No! That's so funny! With all the fans around the world and thousnads of proffessional clubs. Moreover it's vital to the economy of the countries!
There's one more! It's football,not soccer! You call a gave which involves the use of hands football and call a game which only one man from each team is allowd to touch the ball with his hands, soccer!

what?! what are you talking about? if you are talking about zizu at the world cup, NO. you are truly ignorant if you think that soccer should be banned just because of that incident. granted, it wasnt something that should be condoned, but those kinds of things happen in every sport. you cant just close your mind and say that "soccer should be banned" just because of one isolated incident.

Why do you think so? Please add some details to make your case and sound less ignorant. Football as I know it, will never be banned. It's the most popular sport in the world and multi-billion dollar sport!
