it started out as makeup early in his career, then as he gained more noteriety, and money it became the skin bleaching. poor thing, his father really did a number on his self esteem. i thank god i had a mother who said beauty is skin deep, it's you inner person that makes you beautful. now don't get me wrong, i can be alittle shallow myself when it comes to looks but everybody needs to be loved and looks and skin color shouldn't be the only reason you'd choose someone to love. be yourself the best way you know how and if a little cosmetic surgery helps you be that then doit, just know when to say when. some people get a little out of control. look at little kim, loni anderson, michael and latoya jackson, hte cat lady in new york. all i'm teying to say is quit while you're ahead.

Looks like skin bleaching, the vitiligo he claims to have usually occurs in patches and gives the person a pink skin when it's all over.their hair will turn white as well.

No, you should not purposely change your skin colour. Love you brown skin. Michael Jackson is a very weird man, and I hope you do not do anything to yourself or rape small children either to idolize him.

he soaked in an over-chlorinated swimming pool.his skin turned into a raisin textured complexion,similiar to when you've been in the water too long.then it started to shed like a snake as he continued his chlorine-ritual.eventually,he grew new & lighter toned skin.results may vary.i wouldn't recommend it.apparently,too much chlorine makes your voice squeaky.listen to michael's voice when he speaks to the media and you'll hear what i mean.

He has that skin pigmentation (where the dark pigmentation in his skin turns white on some parts of his skin) Very common African Americans .
