If you like it it is ok. It is the name like in a beautiful song : Mr Sandman.
In Belgium Sandman was also a program for little children. He tells you a story and then the children could get asleep

Well, you're awake in the daytime, and the Sandman is a nighttime kind of guy. I love the graphic novels by Neil Gaiman, but your avatar is too happy and sunny, and I think he should be darker, more grim. Does it really convey you?

sandman is cool..there use to be a comic book character named sandman..he was made out of sand..
