Important to keep hydrated especially in the summer heat.
We always used Pedialyte especially the freezer pops!

Puppys have different metabolisms tho. Check with your vet.
Has the pup had a change in diet? A change in diet can cause upset in some puppies.
Used to have a dog that got diarrhea from any table scraps and could only eat 2 different dog foods.

well i dont think you should use the BRAT diet on a puppy, it is meant for humans, not puppies. If a puppy has bad diarhea you may want to take him to the vet, it could be parvo or something else. but to answer your question BRAT stands for Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast, and yogurt is also a very good remedy for diarhea.

BRAT diet - bananas, rice, applesauce and toast... you are right about the BRAT diet.
And if the baby is little enough, pedialite should be given too. Make sure they have enough fluids coming in if the baby has diarrhea, it doesn't take much for a little one to be dehydrated.

Light foods like dry toast, rice cereals made with water and, if it's for a puppy, chicken and rice are best. Cut out all milk products and push the water. If you feel the pup isn't drinking enough, give him sugared water with a pinch of salt then get him to the vets.

Why are you asking a question for a baby when you just stated it is for a puppy? Babies and puppies are not the same. Go to the pet category and post a question.

BRAT--->
Bananas Rice Applesauce and Toast
^^This usually helps get them 'solid'
The baby could be sick, but most times with my kids We've been feeding them juice-s that caused it. Review what they are eating and drinking (if you won't consume it maybe they shouldn't). We had a cousin that had her skin turn red just by putting MC-Don-alds catsup on it.
