Using a nuclear bomb has a great deal of repercussions, one of which is lingering radiation problems. The other is the wanton murder of innocent people that easily reaches the genocide level.
Japan declared war on the United States. No declaration of war was made by Iraq, the United States invaded them. Bush is already a war criminal, why compound the status.

If you nuke the middle east, you destroy the oil fields, and make the oil radioactive and unusable.
I don't think Dick [Cheney] would care for that very much; there'd be no contracts for Halliburton.
