Maybe you already are- how much caffeine and sugar do you consume? Do you drink colas?Coffee? Tea? You wouldn't believe how much sugar and caffeine is in them. Chocolate, too. Even the sugar-free type has caffeine. Sugar and caffeine act as drugs and "rev up"your system. By all means, try the relaxation techniques, but cut back on the caffeine and sugar. Definitely none after, say, 3pm. There are so many bad reports right now about soft drinks- even the diet ones- that giving them up is probably a good idea anyway. I know if you drink water instead you'll notice a HUGE improvement in your health and your skin. Give it an honest try for a week before you think about asking about drugs. No pill is a substitute for taking care of yourself. No such thing as a quick fix.

It's easy for people who know nothing about anxiety disorders to say "just relax." They have no clue what they're talking about.

It sounds to me as though you've got a nervous/anxiety problem. You might just be a high-strung person, or it might be a chemical imbalance. Anxiety disorders are the number one mental disorder in the world. They're very common. They're also very easily treated. Talk to your doctor about SSRIs such as Paxil. They're wonderful for treating anxiety/depression/panic disorder and OCD.

There's nothing wrong with you, so don't worry. It's a very common thing.

More sleep, or just go to your routine doc, tell him whats up and he'll get you right on track! I atcually am nervous/anxious all the time but if i told my parents they'd think im faking, because thats how they are, so tell me how it turns out?

If you are having problems with anxiety then something such as Zoloft could help. If you dont think its that bad try doing things that relax you and doing breathing exercises.

figure out what situations or ppl make you nervous, and talk to others about it. self talk to calm yourself down like 'is it realistic for me to be so anxious about this?' sometimes we make a situation a bigger deal in our heads than it really needs to be. breath deeply in to your stomach a few times and instanteously you'll feel better physically. just relax gal, your in control.
