That B**** has had her big dark nose in my business for over 13years. Her last nose butting incident caused an outcome that has resulting in me despising her to no limits. I can't think of anything that I wouldn'nt want to see happen to her. My main goal is to get her out of my life forever. Unfortunately I'm married to her brother, whom I can take or leave. But, that's neither here nor there. Anyway, is there anyone else disgusted by a meddling sister in law, if so, is there a legal way to get rid of them?

I did not like ANY of my in-laws. I kicked my hubby out after 10 years and I got rid of all of them at the same time. I haven't thought of them since except today, when I read your question!

This is one reason I tell people who are thinking about getting married...."If you cannot tolerate your in-laws before marriage, you won't be able to even stand them after marriage"

There is no "legal" way to resolve an overactive busybody, if there were lawyers would be having a hay-day!

Tell her how you feel, be firm but kind, this will show you mean business more than an outburst. Set your boundaries and tell her, "I don't expect you to agree with me, but I do expect that you would respect my decisions."
Then you've done your part.

If at all possible, do it amongst as many people as possible, so that everyone in your family gets your message.

A legal way to get rid of them, no. The only thing you can do is more far enough away so that she can only contact you by phone. You can try telling her how you feel and explaining to her that you don't want her butting in to your business, but sounds like that might not work. Try looking for places that are far away and then move, odds are she isn't going to follow you.

I guess I goy lucky, I love my sister in law. She is so great. My other sister in law, I don't really care for, but then I never see her, so she doesn't get a chance to bother me. But I'm pretty sure there is not any legal way to get rid of them

no sister in law but i have a brother in law like that. I have tried to get rid of him, to no avail. If you love your husband then you just have to deal with it. But be sure to let me know if you think of something, lol
