I am Nikolai-Alachenko. My parents fought over what to name me; so, I ended up getting both names seperated by a dash. They were fighting over it in the hospital, and then the doctor suggested it. I don't know anyone else with a dash in their first name which is why I don't like it, but also I don't like it because Nikolai is too common, and Alachenko isn't common enough. I just go by Nikolai though so that I don't need to explain it all.
If I could change it, I'd change it to Loren or Dmitri...Dmitri's still a common name, but I have always liked it. Now that I am in North America, I'd like a more North American-sounding name such as Loren though. But, eh, Nikolai's good enough!

Todd, but my parents almost named me Brent. When asked why they didn't, the explained that my initials would have been BM! I would change my name to Fabio (kidding)...probably Sean.

my name is Mercedes. I do love my name. It's unique :-)
but if I could change it, I want it to be Mercedez. (change the letter S to Z).
Letter "Z" sounds cool, don't u think so?
besides, it will get my name looks n sounds more unique... ;-)
