Guardian vs. Captain America. Who would win and why.?

Captain America. He has way more battle experience, super soldier serum and his shield.

Guardian from DC, just not enough battle experience to take down Cap. Would be an interesting fight, but Cap could move in and take him. There is also a problem with being cloned as many times as Guardian has. The Teen Titan Guardian had a strength augmenting exoskeleton but he was taken out of action and really didn't have the super combat training of Captain America.

Here's another comparison. Capt. America has taken down major foes and led the Avengers, able to give orders to the likes of Thor.

Guardian is the leader of an elite security force, but his only real training is from being a cop and being cloned a couple times.

Comparing them on a scale of 1-10 I give Cap a 10 and Guardian an 8.

Cap's physical prowess is enhanced by the Super-soldier serum, and he is also an expert combatant with many, many years of experience against many opponents, including the heavyweight Thanos. Guardian, from DC, is limited in his experience and physical prowess. While both characters wield shields, Cap's shield is also resistant to many damages and energies as it is constructed of vibranium and can act as a "boomerang" by hitting and returning when thrown.
