You give Americans a bad name. I saw your answer on another question. The question was about what you do to cut gas prices.

Your answer was that you do NOTHING to cut gas prices and drive a huge SUV and you hope that gas prices go up to $5/gallon to cut down on traffic. Hmmm... *someone* sure sounds like a spoiled little rich *****.

Just an observation... based on what YOU said.

I'm not just an American. I'm a citizen of the world and I care about the other people in my world. Where they live doesn't change that. Considering the lack of a good education in this country It seems that we have some of the dumbest people on the planet. Europeans are better educated so their ideas have merit. Arrogance doesn't make you a good person.

Of course!

My ancestors came from Europe.

That said, I care how things are done all over the world. It's just interesting. I can't imagine NOT caring. Seems pretty arrogant.

Yes. Americans should pay attention to what's going on in every part of the world. We should also try to see things from the point of view of people from other cultures.

depends on your definition of care. Like i am interested in how things work just for general interest but i don't actively seek out the info unless i am visiting that specific place. But as for care how they do things to change my life or how i do things or what they think about me i could care less

In some ways they do it better, ie mass transit and Germany has health care for all. More culture by a long shot there too.

I try and emulate Europeans in my day to day life. This week, I'm pretending to be French. I've been rude to everyone, and I haven't had a bath since Tuesday.

Yes I do. Experiencing different cultures is a great way to understand other people.
