My hubs is a scorpio, so is one of my closest friends. I'm a cancer and yes, they can be difficult at times. I think this is because it is a complex sign and therefore makes complex people. All water signs are emotional ones, but once you are truly close to a scorpio, they are your friends for life

Hahha...Im not a Scorpio. Im a Gemini (and one of the suggested signs to get rid of - the reason to which I think is quite unfair)
Anyway, I've read somewhere that Scorpios make good friends but worst, worst enemies...
I just keep that in mind.

Scorpio here. Generally, we are not mean, my dear. We just have a bit of a... bite... shall we say, when we've been pushed too far. A lot of my "type" also tend to be creatures of the water and can actually be quite compassionate and very sensual with the right person. But heaven help you if you make the mistake of crossing me or mine. That's not being mean, dear, that's called protecting ourselves and we do it very well.

Scorpios can be mean but always with reason, unlike Geminis who take pleasure in tormenting others. I'd take a hot Scorp over a 2-fishy Gemini any day. Scorpios are deep. They are intelligent, sensitive, caring, self-assured, charming .... what more could you want? Just don't betray them, or you're dead. Every sign has its drawbacks.

I'm a Scorpio and am nothing like what my so called horoscope says I am. So anyway I don't believe in all that rubbish...Anybody can and will be mean despite what sign that were born under.

no scorpios arnt mean ive been married to one for 19yrs and hes the best,all though i admit sometimes they have a sting in there tails but im an aries and we can give just as good back lol.

What makes you say they are the bad ones and not your sign being the kind that pisses them off?
All signs have their good and bad apples. I'm scorpio and known some that would give you the shirt off their backs and make you forget what you said, others that would steal you blind and not think twice...
But one sign? hum that would be hard... I can't come up with one

i'm a scorpio and i'm one of the nicest people you could ever meet you can ask my friends and family and not one single scorpio at my school is mean in fact all the mean people at my school are aries to tell the truth.

lol what would make you say that? I am a Scorp and I'm not mean. I can be cross, but you'd really have to over-step some boundaries for me to sting you. If I could eliminate one sign, it would be Libra lol. I don't seem to get along with them well, plus my adulterer ex-husband is a Libra =).
