My Brother is a yankee fan so we have some good discussions at times
It's all good you know last year Yankee fans hated Johnny Damon and Mike Meyers. Now they are on the Yankees and I think they are well liked

I love the Cubs. It is not about winning, I love the Cubs, my dad was a Cub fan, he would let me skip school to go to Wrigley and I do that now for my kids. There is more to being a Cub fan than winning, I am just happy when we score, there is something about the Cubs, Wrigley Field, Wrigleyville, everyone is always friendly, No matter what the score or how the season is going true Cubs fans are happy and let nasty comments slide off us still supporting our Northside boys of summer. I grew up watching the Cubs, and they inspired me to play softball. There is no other park like Wrigley(well I have heard Fenway is comparable but have not made it there yet soon i hope though) The Bleacher Bums, the hot dogs, the Beer, I do miss Harry singing and Marla the ball girl I so wanted to be her when I was younger. It has been 34 years and I have and always will stick by my Cubs. No matter what they play hard and are good to their fans! Wrigley is always a sell out win or lose. Anyone that knows me knows I am a Cubs fan, I wear my believe bracelet all year round I truly do believe. I do not believe in the goat curse or blame Bartman, it took my Red Sox 86 years. I have hope and faith that they will win a series in my lifetime, but if not I do not care, I would never foresake my Cubs. I will bleed Cubbie blue til the day I die. I even went as far as to have my Cubbies and Red Sox logos tattooed on my ankles

Yankees because they have solid bench people in the line up that are doing excellent. Cairo,Phillips'Crosby etc. THEY HAVE Matsui Sheffield on the DL thats over 50 HR's and 200 RBI's in the line up they are a half a game out right now!

My favorite team is the Boston Red Sox. I like them cause of the extensive history you can read about them. No they havent won alot of world series championships but, they are still a consistently good team pretty much every year. And I like them cause the Yankees SUCK.

I was raised in Boston, So definitely the Red Sox!! Been a fan for a few years and been through some heart breaks with them.. finally they brought home a championship in 2004 and hopefully they will do it again this year.. or at least not wait 80+ years....lol Go Red Sox!!!

My favorite team is the yankees they are amazing and even if they were doing absolutley awful i would love them to pieces and i hate the red sox more than anything and especially trot nixon lol

WHY? its because i used to listen to a GREAT broadcast team in NY (sterling & Kay on WABC radio) and they literally got me HOOKED on baseball ( I couldnt stand it before, i was strictly a hockey fan!)
A couple years of GREAT Yankees ball in 1990 and 2000 didnt hurt either...

Atlanta Braves. Because they are consistantly good. And they promote through the minors, not going out and buying players like yankees...redsox...etc....
