No. But taking the Pill will have influence on your nutritional status. Using hormonal birth control pretty much guarantees that you will be deficient in folic acid. So once you come off the Pill be sure to take folic acid--especially if you plan to become pregnant. It isn't the pregnancy, but the hormones of the birth control that makes the folid acid necessary.
The primary drugs that do interfere with the effectiveness of the Pill are antibiotics. If you ever need to take an antibiotic, ask your doctor for one that doesn't have this effect. And then ask the pharmacist to double check; a lot of doctors are *not* experts on drug interactions. And hydrocortisone could be dangerous to use if you're on the Pill, as well.

No vitamins are fine to take with birth control. Pain killers and antibiotics- not so safe! Some are ok and others arent! if u get a prescription for something- be sure the doctor knows u r on birth control! He will be able to tell you what u can and cant take! Better safe than sorry! The people at the drug store have that information too!

No vitamin pills will not effect the effectiveness of the pill.
Taking vitamins is probably a good idea - see attached link.
Drugs that may influence the pill's actions are: anti-epileptics, anti convulsants, antibiotics and anti fungals.

The only way to know 100% if it is, call the pharmacy, tell them what pill you are on. They have a sheet that will tell them exactly what medications interact with your pill and if your vitamin is on it.

Not as far as I know, but I DO KNOW that any antibiotic you take makes your pill absolutely useless. So if you are on the pill and need to take antibiotics, DONT DO ANYTHING without protection!

No they won't - the only thing I think can mess up your birth control is an antibiotic.
