I believe in live for now, there's no use living in the past, we can't change that, but we can change our futures by what we do in the here and now. :)

Without a doubt "the good old days". People had time for each other. Friendship had a high priority. All you hear lately is how people don't have time for friends. Down the road I'm afraid they're going to be sorry.

if we all look back to when we where kids.. easy life.. lazy summer days at the beach etc, no bills, hassle, they where happy times.. none of us can remember the good old days before us.. and are only relying on grandads, etc rose tinted memories... if people today would be much nicer to each other, and not be so ignorant, then i am sure with all the modern conveniences/medical advances.. then modern times would win....

Definitrly in the 70's and 80's when I was a boy!! No bills or worries about work and if you wanted a day off school you could pretend to have an earache or tummy ache and get a day off as endorsed by your Mum or Dad.

As a wrinkly, I preferred the good old days - but that is not to say that today hasn't got things going for it as well!
I do tend to have the infuriating (to my daughters) habit of saying "Well, I remember when we used to have to go to the bakery for a large loaf and thin those days it cost ten pence ... that's ten *old* pence ... about 4p in today's money".

Can't say i miss TB, Rationing, 3 TV channels and chocolate being a luxury.
However a clip round the ear from a copper was enough to stop even the hardest yobs, you didn't need ASBO's then.

Good old days! girls wore short skirts then. Suspenders were the only thing they had. And no bloody Big Brother to distract you!
Plus, no mobile phones! I just loved the 60s

Modern times- I like being able to vote, wear pants to school, and be independant.
