eh... just dont hang around them alot...or put fishing string in it.. my cousin did that with her belly ring at prom...and for everone who thinks you cant hind it you can i did!

Either take the earring out and let it grow back together, or leave it in and face the consequences. If you've just gotten your ear pierced and take out the earring and try to put it back in again, you're risking infection. Your piercing should be left alone until it's totally healed. As far as facing your parents.....um, didn't you think about that before?

Put a transparent tooth brush bristle or a short piece of thick fishing nylon through the hole when you are at home or where your parents may see you.
It will keep the hole open, allow it to heal and is practically invisible. Just sterilize the bristle or piece of fishing nylon well, before you stick it through the hole. Turn it like you would the stud and clean with alcohol.
If you are going to be under intense scrutiny put a plaster over the bristle and say you nicked yourself.
Once the hole has healed open (about 6 weeks) then you are safe.

No, no dont put a bandaid on it! That is way too obvious that you did something like piercing your ear....just take it out when theyre not there! If you have shaggy hair, then that is good, it hides it well, other than that, grow it out a bit.

Don't hide it. If you are brave enough to get it pierced, then you should be brave enough to let your parents see it. Assume the consequences of your actions now and you'll do great in life.
If they do not like it just explain to them (without getting nasty) that you like the way it looks and that is your opinion, you respect their opinion and they should respect yours. I think that's being mature, and they will think so also.

i dont think you should take the earring out since you just pierced it. But i dont think you can hide it. well good luck with it.

Pierce ur nose, lips, tongue,eyebrows - that should remove the focus from the ears ;)

i would put something clear in it where ur parnets cant see it and then like at night sick it back in and wear it at night then put the clear thing back in in the morning and i thnk boys with ear rings is so cute i think but e-mail me and let me know how everything turns out

What i did is i walked around with my CD player, so i could wear the headphones, and when my parents asked wuts up i said i just got this really cool cd.
