Look at what the test is actually measuring.

They say your temp is supposed to go up when you are ovulating, but your temp could go up for any number of reasons; so that is not a reliable test. Whatever your ovulation test is measuring may have variables like that also; so it may show up that you are ovulating when something else is going on.

I don't know if you can ovulate again after you are pregnant, but there are so many crazy things that can happen, you never know.

Pray about it. Besides that, the best thing to do is relax. If you are too stressed about getting pregnant, it may never happen. Pray, relax, and wait for God's timing.

If you are desperate for a child, try fostering and adopting. Unfortunately, there are many children out there whose parents cannot care for them, and they need loving homes and families.

On another note: I have heard of an ancient saying, perhaps native American, that says a woman trying to conceive should stand (or sleep) in the moonlight after intercourse. **It worked for me! **

No, your body cannot and would not need to ovulate once you are pregnant. I am not exactly clear on your question, but in the case that you did get a positive result (two similar lines) two days after having intercourse, this simply means that you had sperm waiting for your egg to be released and that they will have about another 24 hours to wait for your egg after the positive result. Sperm can survive in a woman for about 5 days so there is a good chance you could achieve pregnancy based on the timing you described. It is a good idea to continue to have intercourse once you have tested positive for an LH surge with an OPK, just to keep the supply of sperm fresh.
