I'm receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in less than a month and I don’t really have a clue what I can do. My major is Business Administration and minor is Human Resources Management. I have gone all through school not knowing what I want to do and I still have no clue. Even though I am not fond of Business, I chose this major/minor as a last resort to finally finish school. At this moment, I am not interested in getting a higher degree because I hate school and am glad I’m almost done.

I just need some ideas on what kind of career I could do with my degree. Maybe one your ideas will finally spark an interest of mine.

Only serious replies, please. Thanks in advance.

Although you dislike school and picked business as a last resort, I must say, you made a good decision. In reality, almost anything you do will involve some aspect of business, whether it is managing, accounting, marketing, etc. Most people pursue a business degree because they feel it will yield them a high-paying job, which isn't a bad reason because we all want to live a comfortable life. With that being said, you may want to look at salary.com, a site which allows you to look at various jobs, along with their descriptions and the compensation that you can except from each. While you look at each job, think about whether you can picture yourself doing that or not. In the end, remember to do what you love, because that is what will make you the happiest. Good luck.

I will be graduating in the spring with a degree in Human Resource Manangement also. I joined SHRM--Society For Human Resouce Management (www.shrm.org) the national and local chapter in Birmingham and Atlanta. I've attended several meetings and seminars. It's great for networking and training.
I have obtained several business cards from people offering their support and even possible jobs. Check out the site. You will be glad that you did.

Really you probably already know a degree will get you into more fields than you could think of. I would say that you do whatever YOU want and see if you can get hired.
