I just watched the movie Immortal Beloved. I have ALWAYS loved Beethoven but had never watched this particular movie. It tries to guess WHO Beethoven's true love was. It made alot of sense, however, after the movie I started doing some internet research on Beethoven and discovered that the movie version is almost impossible to have been true! Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that gave a straight answer regarding WHO the mysterious lady was. I know none of this really matters, but I love history, especially true romantic history. Any guesses? Or interesting facts?

I think it was this chick named Elise , you know, from Fur Elise, the song by Beethoven, Fur Elise means "For Elise"
