my husband is half drunk when i pick him up from work, he denies this but i have been married to the man for 12 years and i know if his hair is out of place let alone if he is drinking, i have told him about 8 times now that if i drive up to pick him up again and he is drunk i will drive on by and leave him there, should i or not

Honey, this is a terrible disease. I do not feel he's drinking just to be mean - it's a disease. Often men will need treatment to stop. Treatment will only come from within too. Question is "can you live like this?". You alone cannot fix it. My best wishes!

Well.. what's the point of threatening if you're not going to go through with it?

Think about your threats before you make them. If you leave him there, he'll either get a cab or a friend to drive him and you're going to have the biggest fight on your hands.

Quite frankly, if someone threatened me 8 times and didn't go through with it, I wouldn't take it too serious.

Your husband needs AA classes. I drink too ( hence the name) but Im never drunk

Next time, leave him there. He'll be madder than a hornet, but you will get your point across. Or do they sell little breathalyzers that you can make him take?

look, yer not dealing with him anymore, yer dealing with the booze, he needs help. once you get him some help then you can deal with him as yer husband.
