Why are you worried about it?

Even though they are not "scientific" people find them fun. Some people us the advice in them as general guidelines, but in general those guidelines are pretty non-specific and could apply to just about anyone. If you were to believe in them, you would have to believe in predestination, that your fate is laid out before you and there is not much (if anything) you can do about it.

However, If one were to sit down with someone who has training and proper reference materials fo a good zodiac reading, you can learn a great deal about yourself, and why you act the way that you do. It is a predictor of how you will deal with the information and stimuli in your environment, and it is reasonably accurate (like 95%), although not based in what many consider "science", it is based on thousands of years of practice. The "daily horoscope" is very generalized and only loosely based on real astrology.

The "scientists" would use personality inventory and psychological profiling to achieve the same results, explaining that the personality is an innate characteristic of the individual, never attempting to explain the "why" in how people act and interact with others.
