Honestly? When asking questions like that- "where i can get punk clothes"- people assume you're trying to conform to a stereotype, and of course their immediate thoughts are "poser alert".
That's BS though. When choosing clothing, you're expressing not only yourself, but your ideals. So if you think certain clothing is cool, you're not choosing to wear it just to try and be cool- although that might be part of it, we're all kinda superficial that way- but you're expressing your ideals to the world. It's like a statement- "This is what I'm about. This is what I like".
After that long and confusing bit, your original question- Clothing section at Craftster.com. I've got absolute love for that site. It's not all punk, but if you want diy, that's the place to go, and there's a wide variety of people who create a wide variety of styles- and so, obviously, punk is included. Also, the t-shirt surgery journal at LiveJournal. A lot of simple (and not so simple) stuff that you can do with just a t-shirt. The good thing about diy punk clothes is that punk is already about rough edges (a reason why I dislike stores like Hot Topic: they're making it seem so overly and well produced), so even if you aren't that good with a needle and thread- or a sewing machine- you can turn out some cool punk styles...

umm in my opinion i think people say be ur self because sometimes people try to be or act like something they usually dont do because they admire it and it doesnt suit them like the "real" way they are....but i dont know why they would say that to u for asking ur question....u can tell by ur avatar that is ur style-punk...but i dont know of any websites for u...cool idea for the jeans though!

you are a unique person and that is good. the best
way to get punk patterns is probably to get regular
patterns in whatever style is closest to what you want
and punk them up yourself. you sound like a very
creative person so go for it.

Can not explain. Give it 15 to 20 years and it will explain itself.

There are plenty of sites that do custom shirts or tees with what ever writing you want on the t-shirt.
