We are adopting a little boy that will be 3 years old in September. He is from Guatemala and speaks only Spanish. It is going to be a big adjustment for him AND us.

My husband and I bought 14 acres just outside a ghost town in Wyoming. There are two old cabins on the property from the homesteading days - really awesome. There is also an old brick building that hasn't been used in more than forty years - it used to be the local cafe and bar, run by a guy who was a prizefighting soldier during world war one.
We're completely renovating this brick building into our new home, and it's quite the time consuming project.
The fun part is that local old people keep stopping by to tell us stories about the place and the people who used to own it. Amazing stuff, and a lot of fun to learn about! Apparently this bar has burned completely to the ground at least four times, which is why the version we bought is made of brick. LOL. One of those times the owner bought a huge box of fireworks and set it under the bar. When he left the room, one of the local drinkers got up to investigate it. He lit one, and zip zip zipped all around the room and finally zipped right out the open front door. Everybody enjoyed that so much that they all started doing it, and naturally one of them finally zipped right on into that open box of fireworks, and the whole place went up. They all ran out and across the highway to watch from the ditch on the other side of the road. The old folks in the area tell me that it entertained the entire valley for more than six hours. Quite the light show!
Anyway, lots of work and hearing wonderful local histories is what is most consuming my life right now. Thanks for asking!

Hmmm well two things: the man I love across the country in Cali, who I am supposed to be "on break" with yet together someday, which gets very confusing; and the fact that I desparately need a second job and some extra cash!!!

I think for me it would have to be my career change. I had been treading water getting too comfortable with my life and now Im gonna take a gamble and try to do something Ive always dreamed about. Its a little scary and a little intimidating but Im willing to give it a chance for the benefit of the rest of my life.

My husband's job will be transferring him soon and we have no idea where yet, could be a choice between five different states, so that's a big thing for us right now. The not knowing part is the worst !!
