Well your statement that u sleep alot tells me that you may be depressed. Also, when you have dreams that involve being chased and you cannot escape, it most likely means that you have issues in your life that you feel u can't escape from, and they are the kind of issues that need resolving so you can stop dreaming those types of dreams. All the different things like vampires, cats, etc represent the actual issue, whether it is no money, or alot of bills or a pain in the neck person in your life.......it narrows down to coming to grips with what's bothering you, and I think you know what those things are. Try your best, just do one thing at a time and take it slow and eventually your life will be the way u want it to be.

Danny, There is a statement that say's "and the truth will set you free" . If you are sincerly seeking to be set free from this torment I suggest that you seek the sorce of (this truth).I too was bothered by many repeated troubling dreams. Then later in life I heard someone talking on this subject, and I could have easily dismissed it as unimportant. But I researched it (sincerly) like you are totally capable of. And I was set free! I can still have dreams or very rarely a nightmare but I understand where they come from and you can too. I seen some of the answers you started to get already and I hope you have enough discernment to see through the false teaching. David

Maybe you are being trained to evade any situation as it comes.
I had this nightmare when I was a child that a "monster" kept grabbing me. I finally was told that I can control the dream, and when I started to believe that, I DID. I finally escaped & the dream never haunted me again
Something big could be approaching in your life, you have to find control in your dream so you can control your life.

quite simply you have a problem or an issue in your life that you have been trying to avoid dealing with.

So In your dream the "whom ever" is representing the problem and you running is representing that you are trying to get away from it.

Look at your life and what is going on in it and confront and deal with any problems that you may have. Then your dreams will stop.

Hi, OK to stop the dreams from coming, first take a small scissors or small knife, to be safe they should have a cover on them or if not take a napkin and wrap it around.. Then when you sleep put it under your pillow... Learned from my grandmother, and she learned from her grandmother..
My Grandmother always told me that dreams are like answer to questions you haven't asked yet...
I have been doing this scissors things since i was a kid.
Peace be with you...

It could be something you havn't faced, for example a person, or a situation. Something that you have not addressed, and are in fear of that potential conflict. It could have many other possible meanings, would need to know your personal sitution to a greater depth. Try to think happy thoughts when you go to bed...see if that reduces nightmares.

You need to face the demons you are are running from in life. Once you face those your dreams should change.

Dreams don't mean anything. You evolved from apes on a planet that was all a big accident.

Bill is wrong..I have a great deal of ESP from my dreaming. What you watch on T.V. or what chemicals one puts in their body...all counts.
