Hi,
Originally I thought of naming my website (which i already did) http://www.FLpcNerds.com which stands for
FLORIDA PC NERDS.

But Last night, I bought me a new Domain,

PcTechDirectory.com.

Which will stand for PC Technician Directory, which I could Branch out nationwide, not just Florida.

Which of the 2 Websites will more likely to catch your attention? or More likely to Remember?
What do you think of the Idea?

Thanks a lot

Octavio C aka THE NERD.

Here are some marketing thoughts.

1. A domain name should not be made up of unknown acronyms or non standard abbreviation.

2. As domain name should be one or two words.

So my thought FLnerds.com or .net would be good for your area.

I also do not believe that you should create a state level website for each state. Just one, world-wide. So domains like this would work:

myTechie.com
WorldTechie.com
MyNerd.com

For your local area, show this website address everywhere. PAINT IT on your car. Advertise on restaurant placemat ads. Put posters up in Library, banks, grocery stores, restaurants, or anywhere they will let you put them up for free. Remember, your company name has to be 7 to 9 times before people will try it.

That's why you see that Gecko on billboards. On TV. On Radio. That darn lizard is everywhere.... and I bet you called for a free quote at their website. (Not just for the exclusivity)

I think PcTechDirectory.com is better because it's easier to remember and some people might not know what you mean my FL and your site isn't even about florida.
