it brings up the task manager and you can close windows using that.
also maybe get a new browser? i like firefox but if that's what you have, you can use Internet explorer.
also maybe you have a virus and you should update your virus software to get rid of it.

Your monitor is probably misadjusted, so that the upper right corner is off the screen.
You need to adjust your monitor. Some new LCD screens have an auto adjustment which does it for you. Older ones, you'll have to play around with the buttons on the front and figure out how they work (unless you still have the manual, in which case you can look it up).

Hmm. Odd... I’m going to have to go with the person that answered that your registry is a little screwy. If you’re courageous enough to fix your registry... go right ahead, unfortunately I can't exactly guide you through that process. An alternative answer to this problem would be hitting alt + f4 to close a window. This is of course assuming that you are using Microsoft Windows.

Your browser may not be fitted to your video screen. Try clicking the box to the left of the x location. that should fit and center the web page on your screen.

If the x is there, but you cannot click on it, because it is out of range, point your curser at the top of the page, and drag it over, until you can see it. Maybe, it's just off center..
