why focus on other's problems when you should deal with your own

Some people get involved in other people's problems as a way to avoid facing their own. Or knowing other people's problems make their own seem not so tough.
However, many people simply like to help.
That is a real motivation. Some people were born to aid, assist and serve their fellow man. Not in a slave sort of way. As a helping hand.
Never underestimate the power of a helping hand.
Be one, lend one, and when needed, accept one.

I don't know for sure, but I guess a lot of people spend tremendous amounts of time trying to deal with their own problems, then realize that they are getting no where, and then they see their friends in trouble and figure that they can at least do something about that. It's like that for me. I need a job, but I've done all I can with that and just have to wait on the employers to review all my apps, but in the mean time, I have friends with problems that I can kind of help with, so why not?

I heard a teacher say once that the best way to learn something is to teach it to someone else. It's sort of the same with problems, the best way to figure out how to solve your problems is to help someone figure out theirs.

Because I'm "nosy", and think I can solve any problem, lol. Sure wish I could! I'd start with my own. Good question, by the way...

i enjoy helping other people with their problems, issues. it helps take me out of me ( gets me out of my head -"Dangerous Amusement Park " . plus the rewards of helping other people might pay off in many different ways. i guess ther answer here is because there's many of us out there that care about other people & they deserve to be helped .
