they become unrestricted free agents... either they try out for nba teams, play in the NBDL, or go overseas as an import...

Their first option is to work their way into the summer league camp of an NBA team. If they make it through summer league, they will be invited to training camp, where if they've made it that far, they have to make it through the final roster cuts to be on a squad this season. Some players do make it on teams that way.
I know a lot of solid people went undrafted this year, so many of them are going this route. One thing in their favor is they get to try to make it on any team they choose, so they can look for situations where a team may be weak at a certain position.
If they don't make it on a team, there's always D-League (which expanded this season), or play overseas, which, while not as glamorous, can still be a nice living.

If they declared then they are free agents. A few lucky ones will get D-league deals or 10-day contracts with a team at some point.

Most of the teams will let them work out with them in training camp to try to sell themselves. If that doesn't work, thay can try other leagues or other jobs.
