Cordelia was a character in KING LEAR, a tragedy written by Shakespeare. In the play, she is one of three daughters who Lear thinks is ungrateful for all he has done for her.

I hope this helps.

Did Shakespeare write a book? I know he wrote plays and poems/sonnets. Try Taming of the Shrew. The name sounds familiar - like one of the sisters who offered her father food that was not seasoned.

Cordelia (note the spelling) isn't in a book. She appears in King Lear, which is a play.
