I like the name Brendan James better. It sounds more like a little boy then Ashton does. I think Ashton Trevor doesn't flow very well and it sounds more pompous.

Ashton Trevor !!!

Don't know why...just like it better. However, I do think its fresh when parents choose names that have significance and/or meaning.
Or you guys can go a whole new route and agree on something totally different.

The boy's and girl's name Ashton is pronounced ASH-ton. It is of Old English origin, and its meaning is "ash tree town." Surname used as a given name. Occurs occasionally as a boys' name in England from the 1600s, but now it is used mainly for girls, perhaps due to the vogue for Ashley.

The name Trevor is of Celtic, Gaelic origin. Its meaning is, "cautious". Trevor is a male name.

Brendon James, but I think that the last name is a key factor here. Which one flows better? The only problem with Ashton is that there is a high profile celeb named Ashton and people will comment on that.
