The tv telecaste stops till the buffering is done then i continue. So i watch broken pieces of the program. Could downloading help? I don't know how to, or any thing else for that matter

There is not much that you can do. You might find some tv programming that is more geared for low bandwidth.

Basically, you need to "buffer more". Downloading would help as well. If you buffer the whole show, then you would have no problem watching it, but it may take a long time to wait before it starts to play.

Depending on what you are using to watch the telecast, the options vary. For example in WMP (Windows Media Player), go under Tools, Options, Performance.

Downloading would help. If you download the t.v program and then watch it, you can watch the whole program without any stopping.

Only problem is that downloading takes a long time on dial-up. It might take 3 hours to download one program.

you might try to add some ram to your system that might help a bit but the true problem is the slow connection. you have to find a faster connection or buy a better computer.

You can try to increase the buffer size

can u get a faster connection? unless you get a faster connection you will always have the buffering

YE DONT USE THE DIALUP SERVICE GET ROADRUNNER CAUSE U WILL ALWAYS HAVE THIS PROBLEM TILL U EITHER GET A DOWNLOADER THATS FASTER OR BROADBAND...
