Ranging from photographic memory and a suprisingly high pain tolerance to increasing my body temperature at will to intuition, self-healing, and the ability to see sprits/energy.
Some of these, anyone can pick up with practice. Pain tolerance, for example, can be built up over time (I compete in medieval combat reinactment, which surely helps). Also, with meditation and practice, one can control their body temperature (I can get mine to go up, but I'm still working on getting it back down afterwards).
Others, however, are more of a natural ability, and do not come so easily to people (some people will find it impossible to do some of these things). Photographic memory (the ability to remember images with high accuracy) is a natural trait. Self-healing, also, is amazingly difficult to learn (while I have advanced myself in this aspect, it has not been by much; I can't do more than pain management/elimination). The ability to see energy (think: The Force) and disruptions in it (often caused by spirits, ghosts, what-have-you) is also an natural gift, and people are usually either born with it, or develop it naturally throughout their lifetimes.
If you are interrested in learning or developing some of these abilities, the best thing to do (in my opinion) is to find someone to talk to about it. The internet provides many communities and means of connecting to other people in order to share experiences and advice; don't believe everything you hear, however, since people can say whatever they want on the internet. Be wary, use your common sense, and (above all else) keep an open mind. -Caeddyn

Mine are hypnogagia visions and automatic writing. It's only been about five months since I've had this gift on a regular basis. Before that, it was just spontaneous, not something that was voluntary. These visions come to me when I am very relaxed, like right before I fall asleep, but I'm still conscious. I ask Amma questions telepathically, and she replies with moving or still pictures. I also get pictures teaching me things about myself. It's fascinating, I'm enjoying them very much.
I'm not too crazy about the automatic writing as it takes way too long. I did a lot of it for the past several months, now I've not done it for a month. I prefer the visions instead as they are much more reliable.

My mom once told me that my name meant healer. I would try to heal her headaches when I was young by holding her hand and wishing for a couple of minutes that the pain would leave her and enter me.
Never seemed to work. I think I am pretty much mortal, no non-human gifts. But that's okay because humans have lots of gifts that are great.

I have prophetic dreams. I dream things before they happen. My other gift relates to the living. I have an uncanny ability to know someone's character upon meeting them.
However, I don't think I'm special for this. I believe we all have the capacity to be psychic as well as communicate telepathically & many other "gifts". It depends on how well you are able to tap into these "gifts".

I can "sense" when something is wrong with someone who is close to me or myself.
For example, I was driving down the street with my children in the car. It was late night and about 1/2 a mile away I saw police lights on. I told my son, "That's your dad." So, I turned around and drove to the police car and it really was my husband stopped by the police for driving drunk. Since we lived close, we left his car there and I drove him home. Luckily, no one got hurt and my husband didn't go to jail. But that was his very last time drinking and driving a vehicle.
This is just one of many, possibly hundreds of times I've had that "sense" or feeling. I've never been wrong.

I have the ability to pray. Prayer is the most powerful tool any of us have. I've witnessed countless times the positive results of prayer in my life and the lives of others. God bless!

i am very practical person. whenever i face problems first i start thinking how to solve it rather than thinking how did it happen. once the problem is solved then i try to know the reason of the problem. so, some times even before others come to know about the problem i would have solved it . but sometimes it puts me in a difficult situation. people think that i created the problem so, i solved it.

I write good stories, give good massages and am able to give really good advice at times. But from the sounds of it, everyone has one or most of those abilities. So, I guess everyone's special. yay! :D
