There's some smirnoff and kahlua in my trunk and, well, I'm too tired to go out and get it so will my car explode if I don't get it out right now?

If left in a hot trunk with Smirnoff and Kahlua, I can almost guarantee I'd be drunk enough to light a cigarette. Between gasoline fumes and alcohol fumes, you car will be sure to go up in a ball of flames.

Not that it will matter. Anyone who's watched the movies knows that any car with a person stuffed in the hot trunk with alcohol will immediately be driven over the side of a cliff so it can explode in mid-air.

Technically, the bottles in your trunk could 'blow up', but the effect is greatly exaggerated. Your car won't explode; you'll just often be pulled over by the police on suspicion of driving under the influence for a month or four.

Aye.. the caps on the bottle could rupture to release pressure.. and some may dribble onto your trunk floor - it won't "blow up" as soda or beer cans might. The contents are sealed, but not under pressure - so the expansion caused by the heat will not "blow 'em up", but may expand enough to break the seal and dribble out a bit.... carbonated stuff on the other hand once it finds a way out - POP!
