I guess it doesn't hurt to try. You haven't lost anything that isn't already accepted as a loss.

DON'T turn it on, put it in the sun to dry off for about 3 days or so and it will be still good. Been there, done that

My iPod went through the wash and it wouldnt turn on. I waited a day or to and i geuss it dried off but it turned on and worked. I think you'll be ok.

Disassemble the phone as soon as you can, let the individualy parts dry out, reassemble it and hope for the best.
