That being said, I sympathize with the Lebanese people, I respect their deep culture and I am dismayed that Israel is not targetting Syria and Iran, the true perpetrators of Islamic Terror (Iran mostly).

That being said, Lebanese civilians dying is not a good thing....but then again, neither is it when Hezbo-Allah (Part of G), start firing rockets unprovoked into Israel.

Everybody wants to the kill the Jews. And no, I am nowhere near being Jewish or Christian or Muslim or any major religion.

Justified or not Israel is trying to dismantle Hizbollah in Lebanon who have been sheltering them, as well having several members in the governmental cabinet itself. Hizbollah has sworn to destroy Israel. This is an act of war itself. Hizbollah is responsible for over 800 deaths with numerous missiles fired into Israel and attempted abduction of soldiers including this latest "successful" attempt. Granted Israels response may be heavy handed but when your neighboring country does nothing to stop a group of people for waring with its neighbor it therefor becomes complicit.

Unfortunately people are not thinking rationally. Everything is solidly down religious and ethnic lines.

If Israel allows Hizbollah to continue without repercussion they eventually will become strong enough that Israels response may not have any restraint. Nobody should want this. And if you do not think this is possible remember Iran is continuing to develop its nuclear program and has vowed to wipe Israel off the face of the map. Iran has been arming Hezbollah to the teeth including with missiles, one of which recently hit the Israeli warship. Just what do you think will happen if Hizbollah really hits Israel hard? Israel will cry running home to mama. No, they rightly or wrongly will create hell on earth. Be smart. Whatever it is, it is not worth waring over.

Hate is no solution to this problem. There are grave immoralities happening on both sides. At some point one or the other side is going to have to start to back down first. By supporting groups that want nothing but the destruction of Israel is just going to carry this war on forever, or until nuclear Armageddon is unleashed. Personally, I don't think it is worth it.

The Solution is for Muslims to accept the existence of Israel as it is definitely there, and not going anywhere anytime soon. On Israel's part, they need to give till it hurts. This means removing settlements and retreating from occupied territories.

Please understand none of this is going to happen unless "resistance" groups don't moderate their philosophy. Lebanon was not smart by supporting Hizbollah. They have only made themselves vulnerable to war, and for what, a piece of land, or worse religious bigotry? Both sides have their karmic $hit. Learn to deal and work through it.

Polarization will not solve a thing but only bring endless misery. Forget who did what to whom and try to consider one another as world citizens. This is the root of the problem, this us or them mentality. How about seeing it as only us, and that's it, period...
