You will never forget him. But you will move on with your life. It helps to remember the happy memories you had of him. It might be a good idea to go to the cemetery and talk to him, it works for me. Keep your friendship with his parents, that's a nice thing to do for each other anyway. Remember he's in a good place, heaven. Pray alot, for yourself especially right now. Good luck.

I know you will hear this many times but time is a great healer. you will never get over the loss off your friend but you will learn to live with it and you will cherish the time you had together.
I am 22 and i lost a very close friend when i was 15, i had ever really known anyone that died until then and it hit me so bad. Even now i still have bad days but they do get easier.
The most important thing is to remember that you still have your whole life ahead off you dont let this tragedy take away another life. As long as you have friends and family around you that care you will come to terms with it. When you feel sad just cry, let it all out but dont forget to remember the good times you shared.

That memory becomes a Treasure"

Pray. If you believe in God, then you know your friend is in a much better place; waiting for the day it is time for the two of you to be together again. Remember, everything happens for a reason, and I believe God takes only the best ones. We should never ask "why", just know that as long as you keep your friends memory alive, he is still with you. Thank God for every day you had with him, and cherish all he taught you. Grieving is part of the healing process. Talk to him, I know he is listening. May God bless you and keep you.

I'm sorry that you have lost someone that was very close to you. The only thing i can say is to remember and cherish the memories that you both shared. It will take some time to get over his death, but i know that you'll be fine. Just remember the good times and happy moments! Good luck!

It's going to keep hitting you for a while, my cousins died in a boat accident in 2003 and it still hits me sometimes. Led Zepplin comes on and I can't listen to it anymore. I see someone die on a tv show and it makes me cry. I miss both of my cousins, but it's not as bad as was. Hope you feel better.

Hurts, doesn't it? Does me too and my buddy died about six years ago or more. Dadgumm it anyway.Don't know what will help you. I think of him regularly and say a little prayer for him. Can you talk with a counselor? I'd suggest it.
