Now that's not fair. My wife and me have been splitting the household chores since we first got married. We both have careers, and we both cook, clean, do projects on the house together, etc. Before we had kids, my attitude was "If I need clean clothes, I have to wash them", and then I did. The same was true with vacuuming and other day to day things that needed get done at home. There are things that I do that I won't want my wife to do. One of them is mowing the lawn. I've been mowing lawns since I was a kid, and I like to do it. We both will rake, however. Usually we rake in the fall with the children who like to jump in the leaves and have hot chocolate afterwards.
If you and your spouse need to divide up the chores, or work on some sort of schedule for cleaning, etc, then perhaps that's the best route. Talk to each other, see what needs to be done, and then do it. No one has to keep score of who's doing what; but be fair to each other. No one has to tote the whole load. You both fell in love and decided to spend the rest of your lives together and maybe have children. It shouldn't be a deal breaker if one of you has to clean the cat box. By the way, that's why we don't have a cat.

Though my husband doesn't clean the house the way I would do it, at least he does try! But now the dishes, he does those every night after dinner, and he does a good job on them! He is also an outstanding father and husband, so I can overlook that he doesn't always pick up his dirty clothes!

Men help out with housework etc., if their parents taught them from an early age. My daughter-in-law kisses my feet for having trained my son to cook, do the dishes, vacuuming and do general help when needed.

Hey, everything is up to a guy. And trust me no training will help if a guy is not willing to do it, although it will not hurt you to ask your man to do it. As for me I help my girlfriend around the house with almost everything and actually I would do some of that stuff myself, rather than having her to do it. But my suggestion is just ask him to help you out and do not try to make it sound like you are making him to do it, cause if someone would tell me to do something I would tell them to go outside, play hide, and f$@# them selves - guys do not like not to be in charge! So just ask.

Men are NOT Dogs, Cats or Pets. They are human. They may help out of the kindness of their beings. But I seriously hope you find one that gives out attitude adjustments. Oh I'm a female.

I don't know. I'd like to find one. The one I currently have seems untrainable. That's why we have a domestic cleaner come in every other week. It's keeps us sane and from splitting up!

Keep your good looks & I wish to you the best in finding him. Find a guy that already does it all, because he has been out on his own several years.
