Coat the metal with several coats of nail polish, but also put some vaseline or other barrier cream on that area of skin that will contact the metal.
Good luck.

Many people are allergic to nickel, which is used to coat buckles and metal decorations on clothing, and watches.
Try varnishing the skin-side of the metal piece, or put a piece of transparent plastic shipping tape on the backside of them. It may or may not work, depending on how sensitive you are.

I'm severely allergic to metal, I cover mine up with that cloth medical tape, it seams to work better than nail polish.

Cover up the metal or get rid of it, some people have a metal allergy.
