After college, my ultimate goal is to have my own tv show... something like Ellen's daytime talk show! It's my favorite!
How could I achieve my goal?

Haven't seen Ellen's talk show, but my advice to you would be to start by getting yourself into broadcasting in whatever opening you can find - whether it's production, or radio presenting, just grab any opportunity you can find. Then work your way up to the role you want. I think it's great that you are focused on college, have a clear goal and are looking for ways to achieve it. Good Luck!
I'd also like to say that I feel genuinely sorry for the offspring of j_smith_7, really I do. It must be sad to have such a rude and sanctimonious person for a father. And should either of them dare to have any aspirations outside their father's own narrow vision of a suitable career, then I wish them luck too!

Why do I find it so sad that this should mark the high point of what you want to do with your life? No medical training? No thinking of becoming a teacher? The public services? Science?
I feel genuinely sorry for you young man...really I do.
EDIT: Earth Star. My kids are just fine, and as you don't know them, I object strongly to your making judgements about them. My daughter, 20 is at university studying what *she chose to do* -Architecture. And my son, 14, wants to be a chef, like my brother. They have chosen these future plans quite independently from me and my wife, because they have always been free to do whatever they wanted to do (within the law) and, as they have lived in over 40 countries with us (yes, 40), they know more of the world than any other people I know.
It would seem we have a 'clash' of cultures here. The USA's, based on the shallowness of money and fame, and European, based on achieving something meaningful in your life for the benefit of others before your self.
I repeat again, I find it very sad that the apex of someone's 'career goal' should be to host a chat show.
