Like if you view a content or picture on the internet can it be deleted from the computer.

yes..i think there only one place to store the tmporary files unless you change the setting at your internet browser..to view your temporary internt files just: click on 'tools' button..then search for temporary internet files..go for 'setting' then you can look the specific location for the item that had been stored or just click button 'view Files'...simple :-)

Yes they can be deleted and to keep your PC operating efficiently, it should be done regularly, along with defragmenting. Go to tools>internet options>gerneral tab. In the dialog box it will say temporary internet files. Hit the delete files key. You can also use your Disk Cleanup to do the same thing. To get there go to programs>accessories>system tools then disk cleanup.

Yes. These are just temporarily saved so that if you want to return to the site, you can jump back in. They are supposed to be deleted when you power off, but if they don't, just go to
Tools, Internet Options, look at the General tab. It will explain it to you.

Personally, I delete them ASAP. Keep personal info to a need-to-know when on the net.

Yes you can go to the control panel on Windows XP, then network and internet connections then internet files in that you have a button for erasing temp internet files, cookies etc.
