Check out www.getprotectedhere.com they may be able to help.
You are still going to need money I guess, but it is usually a lot less and you will get a top rated attny. You can also ask what you can do your self to help, thereby minimizing your costs. The more you can do that the lawyer doesn't have to the less you have to pay. No promises, but worth a shot.

if you can not afford an attorney the courts have to provide one for you. they will ask you if you want to waive your right to an attorney. tell them no and tell them that you can't afford one they must by law appoint you an attorney. being that you are currently unemployed you definitely fall into the category of a court appointed attorney. that is the law of the land. all states must abide by this because you must be fairly represented by counsel. my ex wife did the same thing to me she dragged me though court for 6 years till i started dragging her to court for every little thing. this is the first year in the last 7 that i don't have to make an appearance in family court. it's certainly a drag but you have to endure. believe me things will get better. she will eventually run out of things for the court to decide or like in my case the judge got so angry at her for tying up the courts that he told her the next time she comes to court on a petty issue he would have her locked up.he told her to get a life and raise her kids without all this animosity that was my last court date approximately 1 year ago. good luck just stay strong.

File a Motion with the Court stating that you are financially unable to obtain legal counsel and ask that an attorney be appointed to you, or that since your wife initiated this legal action that she be ordered to pay your legal fees. Really depending on what kind of case it is, it may work , it may not. If she is taking you back for more child support they should be able to appoint you an attorney unless you make WAY to much money, then you should be able to retain an attorney for yourself.

Depends on where in Texas you live. If you live anywhere near Dallas, call Brian Tehan...helped me with my divorce, worked wonders for me. He is REALLY pro his clinets. Everytime my husband tries to take me back to court, he gives him another reason not too. If you want his number contact me. He will give you a FREE conslation and he does ask for a retainer, but if you ask him he will work with you on a billing process. Good luck

You could do the court over the phone and tell the judge your situation and ask him for a continuance.

Ummm, you sound pretty screwed.. and if she already has everything then you have nothing to lose and dont really need a lawyer to put you further in the hole.
Do you have any friends/family who are lawyers and will do you a favour?

Public Defender. You could also ask the judge for help, if you explain coherently, better in a letter. No emotions, just the facts..Good luck. I know this must be very confusing and painful for you.

I don't think so, you could try legal aid, but being out of state will really make it hard. Your only other choices would be to ask for another continuance or act as your own attorney.
