It's a toughie - Robert Wyatt's version has his glorious vulnerable slightly cracked lilting voice... but the Costello version has the glorious vulnerable slightly cracked lilting Chet Baker trumpet solo..... about the last thing he cut before he died.... for a hideous reminder of what drugs can do to you check out photos of Chet as a young man and just before he died - makes Keith Richard look like a picture of health..... but it has to be said, it is Costello's song...

No votes for him. Elvis Costello's version is lovely. I also loved his version of 'She', but can't find it on itunes. Also love that one that goes, "I love you-oo...". He's got a very sexy voice, in my opinion.
