One of my girl friend cheated on her then boy friend. He knew about it but forgave her. They got married shortly after. But he doesn't know how to trust her again. Any suggestions?

Trust is something earned, or gained, as it is given. If he was past it enough to marry, then he should come back to reality and realize that was a long time ago, and the relationship has a different level of depth now, than it did when it happened.

once you forgive it real should be forgotten i know it's hard but it's the only way to move on from the betrayal. if she dose it again then he should leave and never look back. Reminder every thing done in the dark will come to the light so try to find some peace in that.As far as trying to learn how to trust her aging any question you have about the affair should be honestly answered and then just try your best to let it go.

If he married her without resolving the issue, it may be doomed. If he forgave, he was also supposed to forget. That's the law!

It is easy to tell someone that you forgive them and in your heart you may truly believe that you have forgiven them.. but you never forget!!!!
seems that is what is happening.. given the fact that they are married he needs to find someway to trust her or it will not work!!
I wish them luck!!

if he forgave her, it is history...however, he did not forgive her or it would no longer be an issue...why would he marry her if he is worried about it...
