I have to read it for my summer reading assignment and I want to know what you think about it. All I know is that it is about a dead lady. Please don't tell me anything that happens!!!

What a nice choice! It's one of my fave novels. Everything is in the right order and the plot is very strong. Don't worry, you are fortunate to have such an intresting book your assignment.

Hi Erin! "Rebecca" is one of the best books I have ever read! Mother allowed me to read it when I was about 12 (I'm 55 now), and I have re-read it at least once every couple of years since. A movie was made a long time ago, but to me the book remains my favorite....my imagination was more colorful & interesting....read it, savor it, enjoy it, my dear........P.S. DuMaurier has written other wonderful books, as well....I'm sure you'll want to read them after finishing "Rebecca"...

It's written very well, plot is well formed and every element a good writer needs to make it a classic. It's slow in the beginning, but gets better. For me, and I read anything, it wasn't that great.

No, nobody has read it since it was written, so I guess you will have to do your homework by yourself instead of being the lazy person you seem to be right now.
