I'm not talking about foreigner’s sneaking into the borders illegally. I mean, bringing young girls over to America with legitimate passports and selling them as Sex slaves. They are so eager to come and they don't know what they are really getting themselves in to. Have you heard of any cases like this? What usually happens?

Tell me a little bit more. Go into details. I don't want to read statistics or a boring webpage loaded donw with tons of uneccesary info. I want it paraphrased from real people who know what they are talking about. I'm really curious about this subject. Has anyone ever had a close up experience?

YES human trafficing does exist. It does not seem like it happens in America because we would prefer to believe this. If you look at any of the developing and underdeveloped countires you will see that this is a common occurance. It happens everyday. Many young girls are "sold" because their families need the money to buy something for their farm or just to survive. THey are told the girls will be back in a certain amount of time but this does not happen. When girls try to escape, they are usually not successful, or the families will actually return them. After a few years of this type of work, the girls end up very sick from STDs, and many of them die very young as a result. This is very real and should not be the way some people are forced to live and work.

With all that is going on in the Middle East it is certainly refreshing to see someone with concerns about other humanitarian issues. God bless!
