There is a test for phosphates, one source of which can be urine.

Why bother. Regular chlorination takes care of it. While swimming, in real time, is distasteful.

Yeah, I don't know what it is but some pools use it, it turns the water purple.

As far as i know there is no chemical that can do it. and i saw it on a tv show that there is not sooo.
