Not always; although, the enemy of your enemy might be a good person to get to know!

Classifying people as enemies is already a very bad route
to go. You're basically dividing the world into "Us and them"
and by that logic, if you're not of them them, you are one of us.

We all disagree with certain people (or groups of people)
over certain issues. If we decide that those people must be
destroyed at all costs, then we pretty much deserve whatever
ends up happenning to us.

Your friends should just be your friends, and your enemies should just be your enemies. NEVER LIVE SOMEBODY ELSE'S LIFE.

Not necessarily, but politics is full of alliances between those who are not "friends" but join forces to resist a mutual enemy.

George Bush, Sr. called Reagan's economic plan "Voodoo Economics" during the primary then became his vice-presidential candidate.

The US & USSR joined forces to defeat Hitler.

The US supported Saddam Hussein because he could help against Iran.
