To the point that we wont even speak to each other. Or look at each other. I'm to the point where I feel like I've done everything possible to mend this realationship and nothing ever seems to get better. I feel like I'm the only one who trys. She puts out no effor out.. Says disrepectful things about my husband. Lets her husband treat me like crap after I've said something about it over and over again. They both disrepect my house. She's says I'm disrespectful and hurtful to her family, but yet I don't even talk to them. She gets mad at me for doing the same exact things that she dose. There's things I've asked her severl times to not call me or bring up,,but yet she continues to do it over and over.I'm feed up! The only thing is she is my sister and at furnerals and Christmas she is going to be there. What can I do to deal with her so I can someday be around my family on these events. I've missed out on severel family events just for the fact that I can't stand being around her.

Don't do anything! Let her continue to act that way all on her own. If you know that you've tried everything, then leave it alone. She may or may not grow up and let by-gones be by-gones. People who acts that way needs to be ignored. Don't let her be the reason why you miss out on your family gatherings and events. Other than saying "Hello" to her when you see her,ignore and avoid her. I too, have a half sister who acts the same way. We haven't spoke for 10 years and I love it.

Ive stopped alot of contact with my brother because his new wife is very weird and manipulative. I am able to put things into more perspective now. I put my family first.. my kids first! I dont want them to see me being disrespected!! Maybe some time will change things. Send her a letter after the dust settles or meet her for coffee or something. Always be the one to "reach out", so she can't say you never did!!

You have done enough. If she isn't willing to put the effort in saving this relationship, then let it go. However, if you still want to try and make amends, maybe you should suggest a day without men, but only sisters hanging out....going to the spa, lunch, movies etc. Good luck!

What I would do is get a flower basket with a card in it, and knock on her door, and run, so it is anonymous. Then, keep up the anonymous gifts, and then tell her that you would like to take her somewhere to lunch!

If she doesnt ;ike you move away and dont invite her to family partys. Then at Christmas and funerals aviod each other
