Well since you don't say how far out in the ocean this is, I'm going to assume that it is at least a thousand miles away from any mainland. Now the one thing I would not take is not actually a thing but a person. I would take Osama Bin laden (goofy i know). That way I know that if I do not survive, I'll make sure to take him out with me and go down a hero.
